    Angela has more than 20 years’ experience in the publishing industry, having held senior positions within a number of Australian and global publishing companies. Angela is passionate about every facet of publishing and launched Explore Media in 2006 after identifying a need for a boutique custom publishing company willing to develop close relationships with clients in order to more effectively understand and meet their communication needs.

    Helen has spent more than 20 years helping companies develop and deliver successful external and internal communication strategies. During that time she has held senior communications roles with some of the global travel industry‘s leading brands, including national flag carrier Qantas, the country‘s largest travel wholesale operator, Qantas Holidays, and Japan Airlines. Helen also led the public relations team at the Royal Botanic Gardens & Domain Trust. In addition, she has held executive PR roles with the NSW Department of Health and NSW Lotteries. Helen holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of Technology Sydney.

    Angela is a freelance travel writer, copywriter and editor based in Sydney. She was national travel reporter for News Corp Australia from 2009-2013, before embarking on a freelance career. Publications she has written for include Escape, The Weekend Australian's Travel & Indulgence section, The Weekend Australian Magazine, News.com.au, Yahoo7, Mamamia, Woman's Day, Virgin Australia's inflight magazine Voyeur, Jetstar Magazine, Qantas Travel Insider, MiNDFOOD, Vacations and Travel, Get Lost and Luxury Travel. She was named Best Travel Writer in the 2012 AFTA National Travel Industry Awards, was a finalist for Best Responsible Tourism Story in the 2013 Australian Society of Travel Writers Awards and a finalist for Travel Photographer of the Year in the 2014 ASTW awards. She has a Diploma in Journalism from Macleay College.

    Ben has worked in the travel industry for nearly 20 years, enjoying great roles in marketing and communications at Virgin Atlantic Airways, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (Hill & Knowlton), Flight Centre Travel Group, World Resorts of Distinction, and Sultanate of Oman Tourism (The Walshe Group). In 2010, Ben established the Disarm Doors and Crosscheck blog as an outlet for his emerging writing talents. 'Disarm Doors' has led to a number of writing opportunities across a range of titles and platforms including nineMSN's 'Elsewhere', Kids on the Coast, Travel Bulletin Magazine, Travel Weekly and KarryOn. Ben has been profiled in Lisa Messenger's Collective Hub magazine, and presents ABC North Coast radio's 'Plane, Passport and Postcards' weekly travel segment.

    A highly creative individual, Jo has 20 years’ experience in design houses, advertising agencies and in-house environments in both London and Sydney including the highly-regarded Saatchi & Saatchi and Publicis Mojo. Jo’s impressive work portfolio includes projects for: Microsoft; Coca Cola; Qantas; HP; Nestlé; Toyota; Procter & Gamble; David Jones; Virgin Megastores; Virgin Atlantic Airways; MTV; Levi Strauss UK and Europe; Bankwest; Cancer Council; Vodaphone; McGuigan Wines; Pfizer Generics; Goulburn Valley; Country Energy; Virgin Money (credit cards); First Prudential Markets; NZ 2011 Rugby World Cup; Macro Wholefoods; Australian Jockey Club.

    Clare McCartney

    Clare has a wealth of experience in the creative field, after gaining her Bachelor of Arts in Design degree in Perth, and working in both Sydney and London. 15 years in the creative industry has seen Clare work with many large Australian and European brands, including beverage companies Lucozade and Carlsberg, the high-end department store Selfridges, health giant Bupa and Big Four accounting firm Deloitte. While many of her years have been spent in advertising, a more recent focus on corporate design and publications has offered Clare exciting opportunities to make a difference with informative reports, and more recently, travel publications.
